“…IF POTENTIAL IS SUPPORTED BY THE ENVIRONMENT, CREATIVE BEHAVIOR IS ALMOST CERTAIN TO MANIFEST ITSELF”Mark A. Runco and Alexander R. Pagnani
I believe that art making and art appreciation are life skills, and that every student is inherently creative. As an art educator I strive to help students develop the artistic skills needed to successfully express themselves through art making. I strive to curate a learning environment that is safe, inspirational, and engaging. Encouraging students to make choices gives them autonomy which develops creative problem solving and critical thinking. Helping students engage and persist during this process brings me great joy.
